Dear Xfinity / Comcast:
Here are some of the various error messages when trying to login to Xfinity Connect, particularly the email app, and how I get them. Please share this information with your Product Managers/Owners, Developers, QA and IT management teams.
502 Bad Gateway
The server returned an invalid or incomplete response.
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /appsuite/api/comcast/openid.
Reason: Error reading from remote server
Connection Time Out. Please Retry. (Note that "Retry" is a hyperlink that sends a call to the server and attempts to recall the page.)
Connection Timed Out. Please Try Reloading the Page. (Note that "Reload" is a hyperlink that sends a call to the server and attempts to recall the page.) Once "reload" is clicked the URL reads: https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite/#!!&waitSeconds=30
This one is not a message but the following behavior: I click on the "envelope" icon in the header and a new tab opens and redirects me back to the "Home Page" from which I came: https://my.xfinity.com/?cid=cust&state=eyJmYWlsdXJlQ291bnQiOjAsInR6T2Zmc2V0IjoiLTI1MjAwMDAwIiwidWlTd...
If I am fortunate enough to get into my email account which does happen on occasion, a whole host of other slow and problematic behaviors occur.
Hopefully, this will help you solve your scripting and networking issues which are many.
To try and solve the redirects ----------------------
Try clearing out your browser's cache/browsing history. When you have done that, close out the browser and re-start it in a fresh session. If that doesn't do it, then try using a different browser.
