Since I upgraded to extreme 400mbps my internet has slowed down below 200mbps up to 300mbps and tv has gone out on x1 boxes I have spent hours on phone and chat with tech support I have had techs at home that confirm all wiring is excellent with no fix for internet speed. I have new modem new cat 6 hard wire connection and it is only a 6 foot long cable direct to modem, Computer is less than a year old and all settings, software and hardware have been check by my son who has a Masters degree in Information Technology and I have even tried 4 other Computers with hard line to modem. Anyone have any sugestions?
What do the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1
Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.
What is the exact make and model number of the modem ?
