It kind of sounds like you have your email set up on the Android email app as well as the Xfinity Connect app. Do you have it set up in two places on the phone? If so, you only need to be using one or the other.

Duplicate email to Android Smartphone

Why do I get a duplicate comcast.net email when received on my Android Smartphone?  Setup was easy and email is received but the first notification has a Xfinity symbol for the email.  Then shortly after that a second (duplicate) email arrives with a generic email symbol.  How do I change seetings to eliminate this duplicate receipt?  Is it a comcast setting or smartphone?
