Dual Band WiFi XB3

The box directly above my modem gets hot.  Twice this month I have had to reboot because of lack of phone and internet service.

Should I replace the box or are their other issues I should address?

I can't picture what you are describing - "box above my modem".  Can you be more specific?

Is it called the modem?.....it has all the lights.  If I unplug it, it reboots the phone and internet.

Does that help? The numbers after the Dual Band WiFi are 802.11 ac.

@lauriezp- I would reccomend your router/gateway be above everything else to make sure you get the best wireless reception in your home. that may eliminate the box above getting hot. hope this helps. -TheMasterTech

We've seen a number of posts here about that lately. You may want to get it swapped for another.
