Deleting multiple e-mails

Is it possible to delete more than 1 email at a time?

There are several ways.  Check the box to the left of each one you want to delete then hit the Trashcan icon in the toolbar.  Or, click one and hold down the Shift key while scrolling down to the last in a group you want to delete.  Let go of the Shift key.  Everything in between the top and bottom messages should be selected.  Then again use the Trashcan icon.  Or, you can clear out an entire folder by right-clicking on it, and in the menu that pops up you will see "Delete all messages".
