What setting do I use to ensure that when I delete an email on a mobile device, it is also deleted on my laptop?

You just need to make sure that the account is enabled on each device using the IMAP protocol.  Most email clients and mobile devices today will detect a Comcast account as being IMAP compliant and will auto-configure it for you when you set it up.  I assume you are using a desktop email client like Outlook or Thunderbird on the laptop?
