Data overage alert when nobody awake

I got my 100% data usage text this morning at 5:56am, which normally wouldn't surprising, but today is Sunday and nobody was up at that hour doing anything. The oldest turned off his xbox one around 2am and other than that, the only other things connected this morning were paused. How is that possible?

Re: Data overage alert when nobody awake

Because their data usage measuring / reporting system is not done in real time. There is a delay.

Re: Data overage alert when nobody awake

EG said it best.  For myself, I can see my bandwidth use in real time at my router but that is something I did.  Never the less we have added a few members to the household here so since then we hit the limit frequently.   Even though I don't alwasy see eye to eye with Comcast, I recommend adding the unlimited bandwidth.  It makes things so much easier  in the house.
