Buffering problem

SXfinity streaming app keeps buffering recorded shows on my IPad. Live shows play fine. No problem on my IPhone, just the IPad. Used to be no issue but for a few months it’s been a problem. I’ve tried hard boot, deleting and reinstalling the app, changing TV play quality from “best available” to “good”. Nothing works!! I’m so frustrated!
