Arris SB8200 high number of uncorrectables

I just connected the modem to my blast Comcast service and immediately noticed that the modem would restart every couple of minutes. I removed my router and connected my desktop directly to the modem and this is done for now but I'm worried it'll happen again once I connect a new router (Orbi RKB33). My worry is the high number of uncorrectables but this might be ok? Is there a way to diagnose my connection to know if the modem is at fault?

Re: Arris SB8200 high number of uncorrectables

Hi @zekedroid

It looks like you have some poor/marginal signal levels. Usually this is due to poor/degraded wiring.  See the troubleshooting guide.

Re: Arris SB8200 high number of uncorrectables

HI @nerdburg, that was the first place I looked and even called in to Comcast and they said everything looked fine in the connections. Other than trying to get a new coax cable I'm not sure what else I could do to fix this. Would you recommend I push comcast to come out and check the wiring themselves?

If everything looks fine on your end, it's probably time for a tech visit.

I've asked a Comcast employee to help you. You should expect a reply in this thread.
