Re: Apple Tv

Same problem.  Cannot find Comcast or Xfinity in the list of users when trying to activate the History Channel on my Apple TV.

Re: Apple Tv

Call Comcast.

I was going to suggest Apple's discussion forum to find more AppleTV users, but there's not much there either. For somewhat related problems, people suggest getting another activation code.

Apple Tv

Hi,

I currently have an apple tv which has had no problem syncing when prompted to enter activation codes to certain channels such as HBO go and ABC go to "verify" that I have an account with Comcast. Apple tv has recently added channels such as History, A&E, Lifetime, etc. When I go to history channel's website it lets me choose "apple tv" and gives me the activation code, but does not list comcast/xfinity or any comcast association as an option for providers. Below it says, "comcast users click here" it then prompts me to enter my comcast accout # and street address. Long story short, I enter all the needed info and it just redirects me from history.com  to comcast homepage, never giving the opportunity to enter my activation code. Has anyone else had this problem or figured out how to enter the activation code to prove to apple tv that I have an account with comcast (and that it supports history channel for apple tv)?

Thanks, B
