The list of e-mail folders is getting shorter due to an advertisement. Comcast did this once before and changed it back. Too many ads. Can't we just have a list of our e-mail folders and not have to look at more ads?
All ISPs use advertising for the revenue stream. You do have some control over what ads you see. Underneath any ad on the right side of the screen, click on "Ad Info". Or just go to this link-------------
That will explain how you can opt out of some, but not all advertising. Or-----use a browser add-on called "AdBlock Plus". That will eliminate all of them. An even better option would be to use an email client like Mozilla Thunderbird or Windows Live Mail. That way you don't even have to look at the Comcast UI, and no ads.
Thanks for your response. I was able to get rid of one ad, but the one under the e-mail folders is labeled 'Promotions' and it's still there. I guess that's one we're stuck with. Wish they'd at least move it so more folders would be visible. Thanks, again.
Hi Stranger! Nope, you cannot remove the Promotions one. 😂
