I just switched to Comcast and a friend cannot call me. Call blocking is off and I unaware if any other incoming calls are being blocked. Any help would be appriciated
It can take from 24 to 72 hours after activation for all services to work. Did you enable the EMTA side of the modem/gateway?
After switching to Xfinity from Frontier a friend could not reach us by phone. Turns out this customer also has Frontier. What happened is Frontier never deleted us from their telephone database. Xfinity phone support contacted Frontier and had them remove us from their database and that fixed the problem.
Until Frontier deleted our number from their database no Frontier user could have contacted us. Good job Xfinity Phone guy!
