Xfinity Voice

I am being charged for Voice , I have a land line.  Am I going to have additional charges to use Xfinity text?  How much?

I would have to use my Xfinity phone #?  How do I Easily let people know my new/additional contact number?

Maggie66, how are you trying to text? Via the connect app?

 

To use Text Messaging, customers must:

  • Be an Xfinity Voice Unlimited or Local With More subscriber.
    • Text Messaging and Voice2go features are not included with the Xfinity Voice Unlimited Saver plan.
  • Have an eligible smart device with the latest version of the Xfinity Connect app installed.
  • Use a primary Xfinity username; secondary users are only able to use Text Messaging if the account is Voice2go-enabled and they have been assigned a personal telephone number.
