Apparently this is a common problem with Netgear c7100v modems. Is there anything we can do? The phone used to work fine on the old Arris modem, but not since the Netgear "upgrade". Speed is much better than the old modem, but sorry to have lost the phone. Any suggestions? Thanks!
We're having the same problem. When Comcast "upgraded" our system, our phone service went downhill fast. It keeps cutting out. We can hear the other person, but the other person can't hear us.
Netgear just reported to me that they have delivered a firmware patch to Comcast in order to fix the issue with the c7100v voice quality. I cannot find any update on Comcast/Xfinity sites as to when it might be available to us. Comcast, can you respond with any further updates?
