TG862G phone not working

Comcast support, level 1 and level 2, unable to get my phone working.

below are details of  my cable modem, arris TG862

Please help.

Version now on the TG826G device is:

eMTA & DOCSIS Software Version: 7.6.116

Are the Tel1 lights solid, flashing or none?

tel1/tel2 lights are off.

after reset, did it several tiimes, by me , and by comcast support, tel1/tel2 lights blinks couple of times, then turns off.

see below post/url, the problem was solved by pushing upgrade to the arris TG862 cable modem

upgraded to version: eMTA & DOCSIS Software Version: 7.6.116

Can you do this ? or instruct me how to do it ?

My issue was not resolved by the comcast tech, comcast tech has to send an upgrade to the TG862G firmware/software, they did not., either they did not know how or they did not want to. I just purchased an arris TG862R, this worked.
