Like to know if anyone else experiences this. Have noticed its usually after I'ved logged in to my laptop, that these nonsense robocalls start to ring through on my private Comcast landline. I already signed up for Nomorobo but if the call has my area code, they will ring through. I never answer, they never leave a msg. But these scammers will just try again in two minutes with a different number. I do send those numbers to Nomorobo. Fortunately, I do have a great Panasonic cordless phone w/250 call blocks. A neighbor who has RCN said they noticed the same issue -- sign on, get calls. Are these spammers somehow hacking our Xfinity IPN ping? I'm not a computer expert or anything but Comcast should be able to answer this & somehow block this, right? I pay too much every month. Or is this just another impossible privacy violation? My virus program keeps telling me 'everyone can see where u are'. Why is that Comcast? I shouldn't have to pay for a VPN too.
