Was assigned a home phone # by Comcast some 20+ years ago. Roughly 8 years ago we moved and had to switch our services over to VZ Fios, long story. We ported our Comcast number over to Vz without issue. We now want to switch services back to Xfinity and have an order pending installation. I am being told that Comcast cannot port the number back because of a rate card issue. This issue is jeopardizing our return to Comcast at this point. Is ther anything that cacn be done?

It's rate center, and if that's a hold up to porting the number back, nothing can be done.
