No dial tone...new Xfi setup.

I just switched from older Xfinity router to Xfi. I can't get a dial tone for my landline phone.

That is an installation issue and isn't part of the xFi service.  You can start by calling 1800comcast and explain your issue.  I will transfer this thread to the Home Network, where phone issues are discussed.

It  is NOT an installation issue.  The older modems would connect to any house jack and provide enough voltage to power any properly wired phone.  The new Xfi does not.  Try plugging a phone directly into the modem phone port & see if you get dial tone.  Mine does.  My older modem powers the house, this new POS wouldn't power a night light.
