The NetGear C7100V model listed here as compatible equipment https://mydeviceinfo.xfinity.com/device/netgear-c7100v-605 has a voice quality issue. Voice calls drop incoming audio intermittently every few seconds. Netgear reports that an updated firmware was developed and released to Comcast for testing. Is there any way for us to know when that will be available for our devices?

Are you using the NetGear C7100 V , that Comcast has blessed ,or the C7100 V-605 , that your link references?
Same here. I checked the firmware status a month ago and it was up to date per Comcast's support site. But, I've not seen an update publically available.
