I have a rotary phone that used to work with our xfinity land line. The phone still rings when we receive a call and I can answer incoming calls. But I'm not able to make outgoing calls. I get a dial tone but can't dial out. From reading other questions on this forum, it appears that, depending on the modem I have, it may be possible to have rotary dialing turned on. How do I find out if this is possible for me?
Appears that Xifinity call center employees didn't get the message about rotary phones/pulse dialing not being supported, becuase I called and asked, and was told "they should work".
This fixes your phone to dial out. It's the easiest little box to hook up, plug and works right away. Plug into the back of your modem where the phone line plugs in. Took less than 3 seconds to hook up. Costs $40 plus $14 shipping from Australia. its AWESOME!
