I have an AT&T cordless phone with Xfinity Voice. Before Xfinity I could see if I had voicemail by looking to see if the unit showed anything other than a zero. Now the unit shows zero even though I have voicemail waiting
So then to use the phone's message indicator I would need to disable Comcast's voicemail?
Just as an aside, Comcast voice support said that a power cycle to the phone would fix the problem but from what you have said, this does not sound right
stgeorgedragon did you try power cycling? Disabling voicemail on our end may not resolve the voicemail notification on the actual phone.
