Landline voicemail problems

Landline voicemail problems

My landline voicemail indicates I have no messages. However, the phone readout says messages full, and this is the message callers receive as well. Consequently no one can leave a message, but I can’t retrieve any existing ones to listen to or delete. Any recommendations?
Thank you.

Re: Landline voicemail problems

If your landline is provided by comcast, it also has a voicemail service, which you may have turned on.

To find out.

On your landline, dial your own phone number. It will usually ask for a pin number, but not always(you'll have to remember this pin or reset it). It will then connect you to Infininty/Comcast voice mail service. By following the prompts you can listen to, save and or delete all your voice mail messages and then turn off the voice mail feature from Comcast. (That assumes your own home phone has its own voicemail.

Re: Landline voicemail problems

I just deleted the voice mail messages from Comcast voice mail but it did not prompt me on how to turn off the Comcast voice messaging so the messages would go to my land line voice mail.

magpie591, Hi!

Which voice messaging are you referring to? Are the messages routing elsewhere right now?
