This is political season and I am getting constant messages from candidates for office. These are often long messages. As soon as I hear that it is this type of message, I press 7 to erase it. Nothing happens, however, unless I sit through the whole message and then hit 7. Is there some way to gain control over my phone so that I can delete unwanted messages without wasting time waiting for them to end? Thanks in advance.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Yes, you can halt the incoming msg by pressing "33". Then hit "7" to erase. Or "4" to replay the msg, for instance if there's info like a phone no in the msg that you missed the first time through. Or "#" so msg will be ready to listen to again as a "skipped msg" after you've heard your "new msgs". Or "9" to save it. Or "91" to put it back as a "new msg",
I don't know why these options aren't laid out clearly anywhere. Would make life easier!
Thanks to both the responders so far. I will use the 77 solution when all I want to do is get rid of the message and the 33 solution when I want to interrupt the message and do something else with it.
