My Wife has no Xfinity Home Access.
She is a secondary account holder with all Permissions except XH.
I am the Primary.
How can I grant her this, when Xfinity Home access is not listed in Permissions?
We currently only support sign in with the one email address associated with the Xfinity Home account. If you cannot provide these credentials to another user, we can work with you to get a new email address created & updated, so you can share this with another user.
Thank you for your time in answering.
I have been letting my wife log into the Xfinity Home Portal with my Comcast.net Primary Account for some time now.
I guess I don't have a problem continuing this way.
I hope to hear we have fixed this tiny shortcoming in the future.
I know others won't want to share their Personal Email credentials with their significant other. Sad but true.
Thank you so much!
Just to satisfy my curiosity, how does creating another [Primary] Email/User account work?
There can only be one Primary, Right?
Hi CASWA1 -
Correct - there can only be one primary email address asociated with the Xfinity Home account.
To have that email address changed, the customer would work in conjunction with an Xfinity Home tech. The customer would either create a new @comcast.net email address on their general Comcast account or decide that another email address already on their Comcast account is okay to use. Then an Xfinity Home tech would be able to swap the email address on the Xfinity Home account info from their end.
Please let me know if you have any further questions!
Here is a help article that details how to add additional usernames to your Comcast account.
