Can't View Saved Video Clips or Live Video

Two issues with video  - anyone have same issues and know solutions?

 

1.  I have a mac, iphone and pc and can watch video clips and live video on my iphone and pc but not my mac.  It says I'm missing a plug-in.  Is this flash?  My iphone does not have flash so why can I watch the saved video clips and live video there and not on my mac?  If the iphone is programmed to get around flash, why isn't this same thing done so mac users can see them too? 

 

2.  I have another PC with Windows 7 Enterprise.  I cannot view saved video clips but have no issues with live video feeds.  Is there a setting that needs to be updated in order to view them?

This is an old post, but in case you still do not have an answer . . . I use a Mac and when the videos come up on the Web Portal they do use flash.  So I would assume that to see the cameras on your Mac you will need to install flash.
