when my email account is open, i can not receive new emails. i have to close my email then open it later to see if any new
emails have posted.
How are you accessing your email? If you are just using your browser and the webmail interface, try refreshing the page when signed into the Inbox. On your keyboard hold down the Cntrl key and tap the R key.
