I have noticed in my email account the search box is missing . It does not matter what kind of browser I use , the email start with compose and the search box is cut out.
I use two completely different computers and browsers at home and at work.
Called tech support went on chat room they do not know what to do. Anyone have any ideas?
If you are asking about the newer Open-Xchange "Appsuite" webmail ("...connect.xfinity.com/appsuite/..."), does the "Where did my folders & search go?" link at https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite/apps/faq/index.html help?
the search tool on my xfinity email has disappeared.I have not changed anything on my computer and in the last 2-3 weeks, this function has disappeared! Chat person was no help. I used the search tool regularly before and miss it terribly! HELP!!!!

Thanks for the link with instructions to restore (unhide) my Search box and list of folders. Apparently, I had invadvertently clicked on "hide folders" at the bottom of my list of folders. The new view (with only my list of emails showing) then had an option to "unhide folders". When I clicked on that, the Search Box was also restored to top left. Thanks!

Did you follow the instructions posted upthread by BruceW?
I lost the whole sidebar, so link didn't help. I finally found it by clicking the view button for page layout and changed it from vertical (columns) to horizontal (split sreen) and it showed up under my email listings.
I was resizing my verticle sections to read them eaasier and went too far for the inbox section and it disappear a few days ago. I finally needed to search my emails and figured it out.
