since saturday all my email my being moved automatically to trash folder.
It happens on connect.xfinity.com
i have no rules in my setting.
test emails from Comcast technical support also go automatically to trash folder
test email sent directly from my own connect.xfinity.com email do too.
even if I drag a message from trash to inbox it automatically moves back
tech support hasn't been able to resolve. 3 and counting....
you will want to check your settings on Microsoft Outlook and on iPhone mail. Server logs confirm emails being delivered to Inbox, so on the Comcast side it is not intended to go into trash. I checked the filters as well and can confirm nothing on the webmail is causing the issue either. When checking the transaction logs, its showing a device called iPhone Mail and Microsoft Outlook accessing the email and then placing emails into the trash folder. Unfortunately, the logs are not granular enough to pinpoint which email client is doing it, but looking at a few instances looks like its likely the iPhone Mail because on a few occasions it was the only one to access the email before deleting 20+ emails.
