forwarded email being truncated

I received two emails today from a contact forwarding me an email he had received from someone else.   Comcast will apparently only allow me to see the first 50 words or so of the forwarded messages.   What's that about?

Re: forwarded email being truncated

Are you viewing the message on a smaller screen device?  Sometimes the message will be truncated to save screen space.  Do you see an ellipse to click on to see the rest of the message?

Re: forwarded email being truncated

Thanks for the quick response.   No, It's the same desktop machine with 23 inch monitor.   And, for clarification, this truncation is in the total length of the message.   I read to the end of the displayed text and see "..." as if the email message goes on but nothing expands the text.  Clicking the little rectangle in the left border filled with "...." does nothing.   This is new.   It appears that comcast coders make mods to production code without adequate testing.   Thanks for asking.

Re: forwarded email being truncated

I solved the problem.   If I click twice in the little gray rectangle filled with "...." the text will expand.   It has only required a single click before this.
