Email, which used to be reliable, has been totally messed up for the past 2 months.  Guess we'll be looking for an alternate provider.

Just use Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, or outlook.com instead.  No,  you don't need to change providers.  And, FWIW, you are not paying for email service; if you were it would be a line-item on your bill.
