copy and paste an article to an email message

I want to "copy and paste" an article to an outgoing email.  I get a message "Ctrl+V/Cmd+V" which I don't know how to use and don't wish to use.  All I want to do is copy & paste.  Please advise.

Ctrl+V/Cmd+V are keyboard shortcuts [PC/Mac] for paste.

Ctrl+C/Cmd+C are keyboard shortcuts [PC/Mac] for copy.

I use Ctrl+V a lot because in many ways it's much faster than "right click...popup box...scroll down to paste".  Put your cursor where you want to paste and CtrlV and zam! the copied text is there.  It's the same thing for me with copy.....highlight the text...CtrlC and it's copied.  No extra steps.  Obviously, however, the process is what you're used to doing.  Smiley Wink
