Trouble with emails, receiving and linking to web

All of a sudden I can not connect to me email from "My Xfinity" home page, even though it says I have emails. Chatted and they had me add link "Xfinity Connect Inbox".

Question 1: Why can't I connect to email from home login page anymore. Why do I have to have a seperate link now?

 

Question 2: Why when I have a email that has a link to a webpage (IE: Tractor Supply), when I click on that link the header bar at top of screen flashes but it does not open new page to that website it just stays on email page?

 

Didn't have any problems until about a week ago. so whats happened?

Try clearing out your browser's cache/browsing history. When you have done that, close out the browser and re-start it in a fresh session. If that doesn't do it, then try using a different browser.  You could also just try refreshing the page.
