Setting up an additional Comcast email account

I want to set up an additional email account. I've read that this can be done, but the instructions I've seen are clearly for an older version of Xfinity email, not the current one. Does someone know how to do this?

Re: Setting up an additional Comcast email account

the instructions posted are to add a new user who already has an email.   I want to know how to create a new email address.  It says that you can create up to 7 but the manage email address option is no longer available.  Very Frustrated!

You need to understand how Comcast email accounts are structured:  The model is that there is a Primary account holder, and up to 6 more secondary accounts can be added.  Each has it's own user ID and password.  The objective being to provide an email account for other members of the same household.  In order to add another email address you would need to create a secondary account.  Comcast email has no provision for using aliases.
