Sending to Comcast Email

I am trying to send an email to a comcast user email account (@comcast.net) and it got kicked back to me saying "smtp; 550 5.1.1 Not our Customer". Well, I called her asking if it was correct and she said yes and it shouldn't be saying that. I had another issue with someone else with the same thing (a comcast email account). Is there some error in comcast at the moment? Is anybody else receiving this message?

550 series error messages usually mean something is wrong with the recipient's email address.  Have her call Comcast security and see if there is something going on with her account--------------
