I am setting up an email group for a little league baseball team. I've added contacts to this group, and some of these contacts have more than one email address associated with them (the name listed in the address book is the child's name, one email address for mom, and one email address for dad. When I try to send an email to the group, the only addresses that the email goes to are the email addresses listed as Email 1 in the contact. Email 2 is never listed in the too field and thus never gets the email. The only way I've been able to send an email to a child with more than one email address is to create a contact for the child twice, once for mom, once for dad, and then adding both of these contacts to the group. This is not the most efficient way because now I have double the contacts. Any ideas for a resolution would be greatly appreciated.
You have to make a contact entry for each email address you want in the group. There is no way to get it to use more than one address per entry.
That's what I've been resorting to. If that's the case, then it is a very poor design. I'm extremely disappointed in Xfinity.
Thanks for your response.
It's no different than any other address book for other email providers. I don't know of any offhand that can do what you are describing.
