SIGNATURE BLOCK FOR EMAIL

 

Hello,

 

Here are the directions to make a signature block in my email.

Where is the "Preferences tab"?

  • Preferences tab at the top of the SmartZone Communications Center.
  • Select Signature from the left Preferences pane.
  • You can then create a Signature Name and add content for each signature that you create.
  • Once you are satisfied with your signature, click Save to submit your changes.

Those instructions refer to the old email format.  Assuming you are in the new one, on the Inbox page click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page, then on Settings.  On the landing page under "Mail" you will find Signatures.

For reference, see https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-connect-advanced-features if you have the older "Zimbra" webmail ("web.mail.comcast.net/zimbra/..."), or https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-connect-advanced-features-new-experience if you have the newer Open-Xchange "Appsuite" webmail ("connect.xfinity.com/appsuite/...").

 

Note that Comcast hasn't used the "Smartzone" name for its email for about 5 years, so if you encounter it you need to keep looking to find current information. When they retired the "Smartzone" name they replaced it with "Xfinity Connect", which is the name they are still using.
