Reconnect a username

Good morning, I spoke with a Comcast representative yesterday and am waiting for a return call from a tech.  I logged into our personal/home account yesterday and updated the user name and contact info. not realizing this would deactivate the former user name. There was no indication whatsoever this user name would be deactivated.  We urgently need that username to be reconnected so viable emails and recods can be obtained.

Please edit your message to remove the email address you posted. If you don't, your message will probably be deleted. The forums are public and it isn't safe to post personal information here. If an employee doesn't take care of this for you here, Comcast Security Assurance should be able to help. Give them a call at 1-888-565-4329 (from http://constantguard.comcast.net/help/report-abuse/). Note that this is NOT one of the general customer service numbers. The first-line reps there are sometimes not very helpful, so you may need to be persistent and keep at them until you get a satisfactory answer.
