I use Thunderbird as my email client on a Windows 7 system. In Thunderbird's Account Settings there is a question "When sending messages, automatically place a copy in:" and I have checked that told it to put the sent messages in the "Sent folder on My local folders." When I write a new message and send it, the message is correctly placed in my Local Sent folder. BUT - it I write a reply to a received message and click "Send" it is placed in the Xfinity Server Sent folder.
I need to have all my sent messages saved locally, both new messages and replies I send. How do I do that?
Sorry for the delayed response. To get assistance with this, you will have to contact Thunderbird to ensure the setting on that end is correct. We are limited to the troubleshooting we can do on third-party services or providers.
