I am on a Mac. I created an outlook account, and want to move the emails and all the folders from the Xfinity interface to outlook. Basically an export of all the folders and emails.
The inbox came over automatically, but none of the folders that were on Xfinity and not already on Outlook. So ..
I need help either copying the folders from Xfinity mail to outlook or creating an export file from Xfinity and restoring it in Outlook.
OK it is POP3 but that's not important. POP only works on the Inbox folder. You would be far better off to enable the account in Outlook using IMAP, and then everything is synced. Anything you see in the webmail will also appear in Outlook. It's possible to get the POP folders over, but you have to jump through some serious hoops to do it. Try this-------go ahead and recreate the account in Outlook, but let it auto-configure it for you after you input your user ID and password. It will automatically detect the Comcast account as IMAP compliant and configure it accordingly. Once that is done and all your folders are in place, you can delete the POP version if you like.
