All my emails are being deleted by Xfinity. This happens on Thunderbird as well as Outlook after 15 days. I logged in to Comcast and see that all my emaisl older than 15 days are in the "Trash" folder. I can restore them, (one at a time). But I want to keep all my downloaded emails in my Inbox and not deleted or moved by Comcast. This started hapening about 2 months ago, and happens on all my computers and on all Email platforms, weather using Thunderbird or Microsoft outlook. Please help. Thank you.
Look at the URL in the address bar when signed into the Comcast webmail-----does it say "Appsuite"? If so you are in the new email format. By default, all emails are kept indefinitely until you delete them. The only exceptions are the Spam and Trash folders which have their own deletion schedules. So you need to check the settings in whatever clients you have the account enabled in to see if that accounts for the emails being moved or deleted.
