Email suddenly not downloading to Outlook 2016

Everything was working fine until yesterday when my e-mails stopped downloading into Outlook - I tried re-setting my password as I read that that sometimes helps, but no luck there - Any suggestions would be much appreciated -

I have the same problem.  It also affected my iOS devices.  I was able to add new accounts in iOS that use imap mail instead of SMTP and that seems to work.  I'll check Outlook to see how it's configured.  I don't know what Comcast did, but mail quit working a couple of days ago.

Check your Outlook settings with these:

 

Incoming server
Server type: IMAP
Server name: imap.email.comcast.net
Connection security: SSL/TLS
Server port: 993
 
Outgoing server
Server name: smtp.comcast.net
Connection security: SSL/TLS
Server port: 465
Authentication: As incoming mail server
