I sent the email. The attachment did not send. Beats me but i'm good for now.
I open a new email to compose and there is an unrequested attachment, folder of pictures from my hard drive attached. I have closed and opened another new email and the attachment is already there. I can not hi-light it or delete it. I am using micrsoft edge. I have been around since the 80's - what am I not seeing!!
If you are asking about the "Attachments" link in the Compose window of Comcast's Open-Xchange "Appsuite" webmail ("...connect.xfinity.com/appsuite/..."), the link isn't sent with your email and doesn't attach anything unless you use it to select files you want to send. If you do attach files, they'll be listed below the "Attachments" link -- see the New Experience section of https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/attach-files-xfinity-connect.
It's a poor user interface design. Regrettable, but not actually harmful.
