I can not send/receive email from my locally installed email program nor can a connection to the email page through Comcast's web site be established.
And apparently this isn't an isolated incident according to the compaints on DownDetector:
It's only the POP servers that seem to be down. I can still access my email through the webpage or the connect app.
You seem to be amoung the lucky minority then in the U.S.
