The speed (or lack therefo) of the e-mail intereface is a disgrace. This has been an ongoing - and frequently reported problem - since "updating" the web site several months ago. I am officially moving over to g-mail as my primary e-mail. When is Comcast going to respond to the complaints and fix this?

I just ran a diagnostic on your connection and the latency issues you've experienced with our email platform could be related to a signal issue present with the signal being delivered to your modem. Can you please run a speed test for me at speedtest.xfinity.com while hardwired directly to your modem via ethernet cable and let me know the results? This would help me isolate the issue with your connection.
