Disappearing Emails

From time to time, an email will appear in my INBOX and then immediately disappear.  It is very annoying because I have no idea how many emails I am missing because I only notice it when I happen to be on the computer to see it happen.  I am still getting emails - just noticing that some are doing this appear/disappear thing.  They are not going to SPAM or JUNK file, they are not going to TRASH.  They just instantly VANISH.  Called COMCAST several times and they have no idea explaination for this.  Thoughts from anyone?  It is nothing in my settings, etc.  Been through that all already.

Do you have the account enabled on another device using POP3?  If so, it may be downloading the messages and then deleting them from the server.  If it's not that, I can only suggest you call Comcast security and ask them to look at your account------------------

No.  Thanks but that is not an issue.  Emails keep disappearing.  Really weird....and annoying.  Again, not all of them.  I have no idea how many though since I only know they are disappearing if I happen to be on my computer and I will occasionally see an email come in, stay for a second or two, then vanish.
