Up until a few days ago, I was able to access my home email on my ipad. I still have connectivity to the internet ans wifi but I no longer can access eamil via my ipad. How do I connect my email to my ipad?
Exactly what happens when you try to access the email? Are you using the Mail app that comes in iOS, or the Xfinity Connect Mobil app or what? Can you sign in using only Safari and not an app?
I am trying to connect via the IOS. I do not know how to connect through Safari. When I go the the IOS app, it opens the inbox and with a statement of no emails.
Do you have some other computer or other devices with the account enabled on it using POP3 instead of IMAP? Can you check from another device to see if the same thing happens? To sign in using only Safari, just open Safari and go to Xfinity.com. Then sign in with your ID and password.
I use the Xfinity Connect app for my Comcast email and the default Mail app for my Gmail email. Both are working fine on my iPad today, connecting via my home WiFi. In your SETTINGS->Accounts & Passwords, is your mail account still there with Mail turned on?
