Comcast.net pop3 email

In initial  settings there are two options comcast email and personal email. I did have a personal email set up but removed it

so only Comcast email was selected. Any email to my comcast address goes to my personal email address. I was hoping that any comcast.net mail would go to my Thunderbird client. I have everything set to pop3 as I donot want imap or webmail.

I have Xfinity here but think comcast.net is used.

Comcast address   xxxxx@ comcast.net

Personal address   xxxxx@xxxxx.com

xxxxx are all the same

Any ideas ?

Thanks

You need to check webmail to see if your comcast.net email is being forwarded to your personal email account.

As for Thunderbird, once you figure out why your comcast.net email is ending up in your personal email account, and you have set up Thunderbird to receive comcast.net emails, you should start seeing them in your client.

Thunderbird, btw, can have mulitple accounts set up; I have 12 email addresses set up in Thunderbird.
