So very disappointing to lose the calendar.  I agree that more should be offered for the price of comcast bundled services, not less.  This is presenting a difficult problem as I use the calendar extensively and the feature of going from email info to calendar was efficient and easy.  Removing past data and info is also a problem......I wish there was sufficient negative response to this that would change the decision in the interest of users who do value this feature.

I agree. It is ridiculous to have an email system without a basic calendar feature. How do they expect you to keep track of meetings, important dates and such that come to you in your email messages?

I've lost a lot of important information that was in my calendar (past events, work schedules, etc....) I relied on that calendar for historical purposes as well. 

Xfinity - please provide a way for us to recover calendar data. Taking it away without an option to export or recover that data is wrong and unacceptable.

Until the end of December, you can still sign into the address book and calendar by going directly to the Plaxo website here using your Comcast account credentials--------------

They will start purging data on Jan. 1st.  I don't know how much good it will do though since Plaxo has never had the ability to export calendar information.  Only the address book.  Just an observation on my part-------there are much better free calendar apps out there from Microsoft, Google, Mail.com, Yahoo and maybe others.  I have used Google calendar myself for quite some time now as I found the Plaxo offering to be unreliable.
