Blocking email messages

Is there a way to block incoming messages from a specific email address?  There is an indivisual who is harassing me, and I would like to block his messages from being delivered to me.  If there is a way  to do this, does the sender of the message know they are being blocked?  Thank you.

Re: Blocking email messages

You can set up a filter to have the emails automatically discarded. In that case the sender won't be notified. If you want them notified, you can choose reject with reason instead.
