is there a way to disable the motion detecter permantly..(can i just remove the Battery)

It would need to be deleted right off the touchscreen.

And the only way to do this is to have a tech come out and delete it.  Customers are not able to do it.  Comcast doesn't trust us.

I'm sorry to hear it sounds like you are unhappy with one of our sensors. We do not recommend removing the battery as it will trigger a consistent "low-battery" notification. Can you tell me more about why you are trying to disable the sensor so I can help you find an appropriate solution to your trouble?
